What does it feel like to a psychic medium when they give a reading?
Psychic Medium Dusten Lyvers Explains what it feels like when he gives a reading. “For me, when I first connect to spirit, it's typically a feeling like a presence like It's like someone walks in the room and you're just you feel you feel the payroll where it's kind of like when someone's looking at you like you feel the eyes on the back your head.”

How long should someone wait to get a medium reading after their loved one has passed away?
Dusten once gave a medium reading and this person’s friend had passed away the day before and surprised Dusten and the sitter - the one he was giving the reading to - when she came in. She also gave really strong evidence, so there was no denying it was her. However, just because a spirit, someone who has passed away, can come in and communicate with a medium immediately, that does not mean you should go get a medium reading. Going immediately might not be the healthiest for healing grief.
Are people who were cruel and abusive sorry and regretful after they have passed away?
Dusten has had people come in who were abusive when they were alive. Being a therapist he is in tune with how to approach this topic as it needs a gentle and empathic touch. Those who passed away who had been abusive are at different stages. Some are remorseful and some still need to learn and evolve to take accountability.
How are mediums able to connect with deceased people during phone or Zoom readings?
It doesn’t make sense how a medium is able to give a reading over the phone. How would that work? How is the spirit, person who has died, able to come into the medium if the medium isn’t in the room with the sitter?
Dusten explains that it is actually not a problem since the spirit is no longer in a body, they are not bound by space. Liz shares that she likes phone readings best in terms of being the most evidential, since the medium can’ t read facial expression, micro expressions, or see what she looks like.
The difference between psychics and mediums.
One thing many people don’t know and Liz hadn’t when she began studying afterlife evidence is that there is a difference between a psychic reading and a medium reading. There is a famous line that parapsychologists, mediums and afterlife researchers always say, “all mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are mediums.” Dusten however, does not like that line. He does know there is a difference, and he can do both kinds of readings, but he feels this line does not give psychics enough credit. That makes sense considering both kinds of readings defy the laws of the universe. But when giving a medium reading, for example bringing in Liz’s dad who passed away, how does Dusten know he is not just reading Liz’s mind? Dusten also explains how he can tell the difference between each kind of reading.
The three goals of mediumship: Arthur Findlay College.
There is a school in England that is essentially the Oxford University of mediumship, called Arther Findlay College. Dusten went there and he shares that they taught him there are three main goals of mediumship including delivering evidential information so the person getting the reading knows that their loved one is really there.
